NASCAR | WEST COAST FAN FEST

Opportunity:

Launch the NASCAR 2008 season. Grow the fan base in Los Angeles and generate overall buzz for the NASCAR/Auto Club 500.

Solution:

We created the inaugural NASCAR West Coast Fan Fest featuring an outdoor Daytona 500 viewing party and festival hosted at the Petersen Automotive Museum, the nation’s premiere automotive museum. The event engaged fans with interactive displays by NASCAR sponsors including Sprint, Toyota, EA Sports, Richard Petty Driving Experience and DUB. Additionally, in celebration of 60 years of NASCAR racing, we partnered NASCAR and the Petersen Museum to unveil the “NASCAR: 60 Years” exhibition.

Result:

NASCAR generated major buzz in the LA market with extensive press/media coverage and provided key sponsors with marketing activation opportunities.
